It’s a beautiful spring morning @TalbotHeathSch Just the weather for relaxing in a hammock and listening to the birds singing! Waiting for 5B to come and enjoy it too.
A windy day is perfect for making and flying kites, as 6W found out. There was lots of running and perseverance to get their kites in the air. @TalbotHeathSch@THSch_Junior
Reception and Kindergarten loved digging for worms in the Junior School vegetable garden. They learnt that the pointy end is the worms head and the round end is it’s tail. @TalbotHeathSch@THSch_Kinder@THSch_PrePrep
3S loved making rainbow toast. They painted bread with coloured milk then toasted it over the fire. They also helped their friends on the slack line and climbing trees. The explorers in the group found footprints in the mud! @TalbotHeathSch@THSch_Junior
What can be better than freshly baked cinnamon rolls and a cup of hot chocolate? A great session with 4D today, including making these wonderful hearts and fairy wings. @TalbotHeathSch@THSch_Junior
@THSch_Kinder made their own Stickman today. They loved the new log snake provided by @THSch_Grounds - thank you! On our way back we found a squirrel nest (drey) on the ground. So the children were able to see how it was made.
3F proved that you can have loads of fun in the cold weather. They found ice sculptures in our water tray. They raked paths and built dens to keep warm. Of course, there was plenty of hot chocolate too! @THSch_Junior
A great session with 5B today. Pizza with a pal, tool work, den building, climbing, playing with ice and lying in hammocks. They didn’t mind the cold at all! @THSch_Junior
