✨📚 Inside the Classroom | @TISDWEST Ms. Edwards’ kindergarteners rotated through engaging literacy centers—building words, practicing reading and writing, and acting as “word detectives.” Every center supported young learners on their journey to becoming confident readers!

4th grade loved Berry Song by Michaela Goade as we celebrate Native American Heritage Month! We uncovered the personification in the text and translated the similes from what they say to what they mean. Then we coded Ozobots to follow that same “translation” path! @TISD_Libraries

❄️ After reading Sneezy the Snowman by Maureen Wright, our 1st graders explored thermal energy in a hands-on heat source lab! 🔥 They turned bread into toast, melted M&Ms, used friction to melt ice, and watched crayons melt with a blow dryer. @TISD_Libraries @TISDWEST
