What makes this revealing: creator businesses fail when they import creator monetization logic into product pricing. His audience pays $0 for YouTube content because ads subsidize it. Junior PM: How do I build more influence? Senior PM: Stop defending. Start discovering the fears behind every "no." Junior PM: Then? Senior PM: Address the fear, not the objection. Junior PM: This is all so political. Senior PM: No. It's human. Junior PM: I became a PM to build products. Senior PM: Products are built by scared people protecting things.
