@BookofAEGIS The issue with Sancho is the money he is on is big, so the expectation is higher. He has had some great moments with us, but the reality is, he is doing Ok, for a big spend. He's also most likely to head off for a big pay day somewhere else when finished with us!

There no non Hamas approved Journalist in Gaza. They’d be killed if there were. Everything is Al Jazeera written and approved by Hamas. Memes like the one claiming 660,000 dead and 360,000 children under 5 recently have been circulated. There were only 340,000 children under 5 according to the UN!! Yet every video from Gaza shows kids everywhere. So you really have to take stuff that comes out of there with a pinch of salt.

I'm a councilor on Shropshire Unitary Council. At last Thursday's full council meeting, I walked out of the chamber in protest during public questions, and I want to explain why. I believe that councilors have a duty to listen to the public's concerns, even those they don't agree with. I also believe in democracy and free speech. Members of the public are free to come to council to talk about any matter they like, and I have no wish to prevent them. But when free speech is used to lie and to endanger British citizens, as it was in this case, I believe that councilors have a duty to protest what is being said, which is exactly what I did. The question brought to council was a call for Shropshire Council to divest its pension scheme from Israeli companies. The justification was the 'genocide in Gaza'. Let's be very clear: there is no genocide in Gaza. There is a war taking place in Gaza in which civilians have sadly been killed, as in any war. The lie that there is a genocide, is a blood libel against the Jewish people who are fighting a defensive war against multiple militant groups whose stated aims are the destruction of the Jewish people, in the Middle East and beyond. Jews have already been ethnically cleansed from many countries in the Middle East, including (but not limited to) Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Yemen and Jordan. Hamas and their ideological allies have made it clear that they would like to see Israel likewise cleansed of its Jews, and the country wiped from the map -- which was their intention on October 7th. Jews in this country are starting to seriously fear for their lives, as week in, week out we witness calls on British streets to 'globalise the intifada' in the name of Palestine -- that is, to violently attack Jews worldwide. Israel has already lived through two intifadas, in 1987-93, and in 2015-18, in which Palestinians carried out hundreds of ramming, stabbing, and suicide bomb attacks on civilians and soldiers alike. Today in Manchester, two people have been killed and three more are fighting for their lives after a man rammed his vehicle into a crowd of people outside a synagogue on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar. He then stabbed the security guard standing guard outside the synagogue. This is what 'globalising the intifada' looks like. Jews should not have to have security guards at the doors to their temples. They should not have to live with the fear that they may be mown down when attending synagogue to worship. They should not have to live with the consequences of the modern blood libel that there is a genocide in Gaza. Make no mistake, attacks like these are the direct consequence of rhetoric such as that witnessed in the council chamber on Thursday. When people lie constantly about the actions and motives of a particular group of people, it is inevitable that others will take it upon themselves to rid the world of that 'troublesome' group of people.
