OHSAA Fairmont District |4-1| 3rd Place OHSAA D1 State Tournament |0-2| DNP It’s been hard to say goodbye to this sport but I put my heart and soul into wrestling and don’t regret a thing. Gotta thank my coaches and most importantly my parents. Thank you Coach Curnes and Troy🙌🏼

OHSAA D1 Sectional Tournament 1st place | 4-0 | 30 TD’s, 2 Tech Pins, 2 Techs (Finals Tech 23-7). Team finished first!! Broke Season Pins School Record (was 28 now set at 30) Also at 938 Career TD’s, 5 away from breaking the D1 State record! Highlights below 👇🏼

MVL Championships | 1st Place | 3-0 22 TD’s, 3 Tech Pins, Individual and Team Title!! Troy won by 64.5 points, our first league title in nearly 20 years Also broke our season TD record (mine from last year: 248) currently at 259 and not stopping here. Highlights below 👇🏼

Cavalier Invitational | 1st Place | 5-0 31 TDs, 1 MD, 2 Techs, 2 Tech Pins 19-3 Tech in the Finals. Team also won our 4th tournament this season! Forgot to mention that I broke our school record for career wins a couple meets ago. Was 161 currently at 169. Highlights Below 👇🏼

Milford Invitational | 2nd Place | 4-1 31 TD’s, 2 Tech’s, 2 Tech Pins Lost 4-1 against D1 #4 M. Morency Team won its 3rd Tournament of the Year, by 70 points!! So proud of these guys and the work they’re putting in. Highlights below 👇🏼

Mason Comet Invite | 5-0 | 1st Place 33 TD’s, 2 Tech Pins, 2 Techs 14-2 MD in the finals against D1 #18 I. Callahan. Finished 3rd as a team and l also tied our school record for career wins. Currently at 158, and 29-3 on the season. Highlights below 👇🏼

Miamisburg Pool Tournament | 2nd Place 4-1 | 27 TD’s, 1 Tech, 2 Tech Pins Lost by fall in the finals against D1 #1 K. Shawger Got my 150 Wins! Currently 24-3 on the season (20-2 after last week*) Finished 1st as a team, winning back2back tournaments! Highlights 👇🏼

Troy Invitational | 1st Place | 5-0 38 TD’s, 4 Tech Pins, 1 Tech (Finals: 21-5) Also Voted Outstanding Wrestler of the Meet while also finishing 1st Overall as a team! Currently 19-2 this season while also being 1 win away from 150 career wins. More to come, Highlights Below 👇🏼

GMVWA Holiday Tournament 3rd Place | 6-1 | 18 TD’s, 2 Tech Pins 1 Pin, 1 Tech (7-2 loss vs D2 #6) Solid Tournament wrestled pretty well considering being down to weight for the first time along with some slight severe dehydration. Highlights Below 👇🏼

Franklin Invitational 2nd Place | 4-1 | 4 Tech Pins Lost 7-2 vs D1 #8 M. Morency 28 TD’s | 2nd Overall as a Team Also broke our school record for most pins in a career, was 77; currently at 79 Highlights Below 👇🏼

Roger & Rick Mock Meet | PR’d jumping 15’0 !! This was the last summer practice with Roger Bowen and it’s been a great summer. I haven’t vaulted in a couple weeks cause of football and wrestling but it was a great day! Lots to work on, progress over perfection Jumps Below 👇🏼

The Rumble-Cedar Point National Tournament | Placed 2nd (Folkstyle), 4th (Freestyle), 1st (Greco) | 14-3 on the weekend. Didn’t wrestle my 3rd place match in freestyle so defaulted to 4th. Lots of high level wrestling and some late nights. All-American in all 3 styles🙌🏼

AAU Junior Olympic Regional | 1st Place | Jumped 4.20m and got stuck at 4.30 but hip height was far above what the bar was at. Needed to dial in the standards earlier into the meet but also holding on to my pole to long once again. Much to work ion this week Jumps Below 👇🏼

USATF Junior Olympics District Meet 1st Place | Still only jumped 14’0” but felt better than state. Narrowed down the small things we need to critique in practice and feel confident that 15’0 is coming soon Jumps Below 👇🏼

OHSAA D1 State Championships | Tied four guys for the 8th best overall jump but finished 11th on misses | Jumped 14’0” | Could’ve been a much better day my PR would’ve place 5th but sometimes things don’t always go your way. That concludes my junior year Jumps Below 👇🏼

OHSAA D1 Regional at Wayne | 5th Place but qualified as a wild card! Jumped 14’4 just under my PR. Overall a good day and lots of critiquing to do. Onto the next week. Jumps Below 👇🏼
