@DanZangrilli You both are in my thoughts and prayers my friend. So inspiring and inspirational I don’t even know how to articulate my feelings for such a special relationship.

I’m 40 and am going to lose my brother far sooner than anyone should. The very best friend I’ve had. Knowing I have to eventually forge on, and never have another anywhere close to measuring up to him, frightens me to no end. Because I need him. Selfishly, this has been destroying me from the inside-out for some time, now. In losing him, I’ll have lost my perspective, my mentor, my balance, my confidant and the kinetic bond of what I find hilarious. But here’s what I get to keep! I keep the lessons of his steady demeanor - especially as he conquers death daily - the example of his rock-solid purview, or his never-ending gratitude for the simplest of simple. I get to keep boundless memories of our shared moments both big and small, worthy of a trilogy. The imprint into my DNA that Nac has woven through friendship and brotherhood over half our lives is one that so very few are blessed enough to stumble upon. He’s permanent. And now, thanks to Noah, everyone knows why. I’m here to spike the football. To pound my chest. To obnoxiously brag. Be jealous of me. Because my best friend will always be better than yours — and there’s nothing you can do to ever change that.

Fernando Tatis Jr. has lost his lawsuit against Big League Advance. Tatis was paid $2 million as a minor leaguer in exchange for 10% of his future earnings. This was not a loan. If Tatis didn't make it to the big leagues, he didn't have to repay the $2 million. But Tatis did make it to the big leagues and later signed a 14-year, $340 million contract. That meant Tatis owed Big League Advance $34 million. Tatis had publicly praised Big League Advance, saying the $2 million allowed him to hire a personal trainer, upgrade his apartment, and eat better food. But after realizing he owed $34 million in exchange for $2 million, Tatis sued the company, alleging that they used predatory tactics to lure him into an investment deal that was really an illegal loan. The judge disagreed. The agreement was upheld this week and Tatis was even ordered to pay Big League Advance’s legal fees. This is a big deal because Big League Advance has signed deals with 700+ athletes, including Elly De La Cruz (MLB) and Nolan Smith (NFL), across MLB, NFL, and college sports (think: NIL). And now that the courts have ordered Fernando Tatis Jr. to follow through on the agreement, other potential legal challenges will likely go the same way.
