When you get tasked to write the year 8 lessons and its graphic design. I thought how could I teach curves and have it engaging? Ah yes, get them to create rubber duckies!

And decided to do this 5 times. Each time increasing the list by 10,000 numbers.

As I finished recording a video analysing the bubble sort code to help year 13. I thought it would a good idea to go and experiment with data analysis to produce a graph on time taken to sort a list based on number of items in a list. Looks like this is going to take a while…

With GCSEs coming up, I writing a program that allows pupils to practice their binary conversions. 1000 lines of code later, I have a working program. I will be uploading the python file to TES if you find anyone who is interested.

Great lesson on Dijkstra’s shortest path and using game maps to navigate a mini-figure to find the shortest path using the algorithm with Year 13. Certainly they won’t be forgetting that! @TKASA6th @_TKASA

Dusting off some GUI programming skills and preparing my Year 12s (also my tutor group). They’ll be dipping their toes in tkinter for the next couple of weeks whilst they get their proposal forms completed.

After a final read and amendments of my tutor group references for UCAS, I can finally finish this with cards ready for the end of a very intense term. They all worked so hard and need a well deserved rest.
