NLSchools is excited to announce the hiring of Josh Banks into a full-time permanent position at @viking_trail. Josh is currently completing the Physical Education and Technology Program at @MemorialU. The students and staff will no doubt benefit from his expertise and passion.

What a great day @marineinstitute! We are off to the races for the annual MATE ROV Competition. The halls are filled with excited participants who are competing in the world’s largest flume tank! A pretty neat backdrop to an awesome experiential learning opportunity!

My internship: My students preferred doing a final project instead of a test for their surface area and volume unit. They had to create an object/town using at least one cylinder, rectangular prism, and triangular prism. Then, they calculated the surface area and volume for each.

I just recently completed a 3-month internship as part of my education program. My favourite moment was near the end when covering the feudal system where I got to talk about knights ..... and also dress up a little.

@TKennedyCF @nltatesic @nlta_mssic Puzzles are a great way to engage students! During my internship we used a puzzle like this in biology to match terms with definitions to create a desired shape. Students loved it for a review class! #4623PLN
