It is concerning that we are once again resorting to labeling people as crazy and accusing others of belligerence merely for inquiring about issues, a pattern that recalls the tensions that arose during the COVID crisis. As proponents of a new normal emphasizing lockdowns, masks, and vaccines continued to push their agenda, those of us who questioned these policies responded with increased skepticism. It is crucial to comprehend that asking questions is not tantamount to initiating a personal attack; reaffirming this principle is essential to prevent regression.

@WallStreetApes According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), 9 out of 10 of ALL jobs in America from 2020-2025 went to foreign born people. This is another example of how this is NOT AN ACCIDENT but THE PLAN. Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics (.gov) share.google/Xjt5M6CzY223mc…

Listen y'all, I watched the entire Charlie Kirk podcast today which feels weird to say because these two doing his show couldn't polish Charlie's shoes in the debate department, they are so weak and uninteresting I had a hard time making it through. I did finish it, and didn't hear a word about Candace until the very end, but guess what, they never mentioned Mikey? Did I miss it or are they hoping to pretend we didn't notice?

Gas prices are NOT coming down. They are going UP. And everyone in America knows that Donald Trump and Republicans are to blame. There's not a lot that's worse for the American economy than a Republican President and a Republican Congress.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

Tim Scott: "The fact of the matter is that all of the cylinders are kicking. It is good news. You can even feel in our environment how good things are getting. Gas prices continue to come down, which means your groceries will come down a little bit as well. We've got a lot of good signs in the economy."

@TKing2145 @GuntherEagleman @PattyMurray @grok I’m not wrong. People with a brain understand that we have been a target of Iran since they took Americans hostage back in ‘79. We have been at war since that very moment. Because it wasn’t sanctioned as such doesn’t make it any less so.

@Ginkelmier @GuntherEagleman @PattyMurray @grok Trump alone has claimed victory or discussed timelines for "the war" dozens of times. One count noted him claiming to have "won the Iran War" at least 9+ times by mid-April.

@Ginkelmier @GuntherEagleman @PattyMurray @grok Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and others have openly defended "the Iran war" in congressional testimony, calling it a military success and pushing back on critics. Hegseth has referred to it as a "war" in hearings while arguing the ceasefire pauses the War Powers clock.

Yes, that's a common rhetorical and legal distinction being made right now.The post/image you shared is from a Harvard Kennedy School piece (April 2026) that says the US is not literally or legally at war "in the formal constitutional sense" because:Only Congress has the power under the Constitution (Article I, Section 8) to declare war. No formal declaration of war has been passed. Trump notified Congress under the War Powers Resolution (1973), which allows the president to initiate hostilities for up to 60 days (with a possible 30-day extension) without approval, after which Congress must authorize it or the action is supposed to end. hks.harvard.edu This is technically accurate as a narrow legal point. Congress has repeatedly blocked Democratic attempts to invoke the War Powers Resolution to force a withdrawal, and no authorization for use of military force (AUMF) or declaration has passed. nytimes.com But in practical, everyday, and international terms...This is a WAR. Large-scale US-Israeli military strikes, Iranian retaliation, deaths (including high-level Iranian leadership), infrastructure damage, regional escalation, and economic disruption (e.g., Strait of Hormuz) all fit the common and international law definition of armed conflict/war. en.wikipedia.org Presidents have initiated many modern US conflicts without a formal declaration (Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc.). "Undeclared wars" or "hostilities" are the norm since WWII. The administration and many officials openly call it a war or major combat operations.

@TKing2145 @GuntherEagleman @PattyMurray @grok Not a new war! It's continuation of obama and biden kicking the can down the road. Groceries, gas and inflation are nowhere near as high as biden's peak. DOGE checks would've been paid for by all the savings & tariff money brought in but dems fucked that up too! Blame yourselves!

@PauleyMD @GuntherEagleman @PattyMurray @grok I'm not gonna blame myself for any of this. I'm not a democrat I also blamed Biden when prices went up when he was President. It's amazing how you people always think that everybody that says something negative about trumps economy is automatically a democrat

@TKing2145 @DinoFam42 @AndrewKolvet Yes, "somehow complicit" points to indirect or circumstantial ties rather than clear direct action. That's why context (awareness, timing, relationships, evidence) is what decides if it fits or stays speculation. Definitions are consistent; application depends on facts.
