Chronicle crews are always on the road all over to New England. Our producer, Ramen, and our intrepid senior videographer Bob Oliver were up in Jackson, New Hampshire to shoot a Main Streets and Back Roads. They made a stop in Sanbornville and the "Poor People's Pub".

Just had a wonderful meeting with our new Director of Special Education and Intervention Services, Dr. Tammy L. Murray. Our Special Education Department has been one area I’ve always wanted to know more about from a structural, inner governance aspect to a programmatic level.

25 years ago in my first campaign for Worcester City Council we had a terrific volunteer from Holy Name H.S. Her name was Robyn Kennedy. Today one of my high school age daughters began volunteering on Robyn’s campaign for State Senate. Go ⁦@robyn4senate⁩ !

We are tremendously saddened to learn of the passing of Boston Marathon icon Dick Hoyt. Dick personified what it means to be a Boston Marathoner, finishing 32 races with son Rick. We are keeping his many family & friends in our prayers. bit.ly/DickHoyt
