Viat is ready but $BTC and any other crypto today are either none viable qt transitory or post QT scalable in their current states. QT will be marked by these distinct periods 1) Early QT algo adoption 2) Initial obscured wallet attacks 3) QT Attacks are acknowledged 4) Post quantum world Upgrading cryptographic algorithms will not solve this for cryptocurrency. The side effects and implications of a post quantum world go far beyond algorithms for cryptocurrencies and decentralized networks. The Web is another topic. Phase 1 - BTC is not capable of passing full adoption. Parts of the network will not continue. $SOL out of desperation tries to setup for using their ed25519 keys with new addresses with a massive QT transition scheme which is massive and likely fails to secure its future. BTC attempts to enforce new QT resistant addresses which is irrelevant to the coming collapse merely protecting new unspent UTXOs. Others play with massive hash based signature algorithms and one time use keys a strategic miscalculation. All are mistakes and fail to address fundamental post quantum realities but they don’t know it yet. They continue willfully ignorant, unaware that cryptography is a part of the solution not all of it. Phase 2 - It will likely be the largest reshuffling in #crypto history and likely financial history. BTC will begin to see obscure old wallets endure massive sell offs. It won’t stop there it will have exponential exploitative growth. Privacy coins are irrelevant more so than ever before like $ZEC. They will be exploited in a way that BTC can’t and it will go unnoticed ZEC being magically printed without anyone realizing. Privacy coins become primary targets to milk profits from without raising any alarms. BTC and others will come after ZEC privacy and or #ZKP cryptos if the operators are smart enough to realize this benefit. Phase 3 - The first attacks have been detected the Quantum enforced Transition begins. Nothing is sacred panic ensues. The skeleton that survives and enters phase 3 will only be those with unspent UTXOs with viable hashes that can withstand Grover. However, their worth is now 0 because the rest of the chain sold to 0 causing broad market collapse. All current chains that desperately switched to post QT algos will begin to experience a massive drop in TPS into the single digits if lucky. Transaction cost will sky rocket. Their architectures will fail and buckle under the weight of new post quantum algorithms and their architectural side effects. Their networks will grind to a halt. Any remaining value will be sold at best off chain otherwise the chains themselves will be none viable. The entire market is in panic. Mass sell offs of primary cryptos begin to fail. Any stable coins are no longer stable. There is no off ramp in that world no Viat to run to the market undergoes constant free fall. Phase 4 - The Post quantum world is here where VIAT is built to thrive and scale. Designed for the side effects of a post quantum world with new architectural requirements. $BTC $SOL $ETH $ZEC and others if they survive at all have a none viable TPS, useless smart contracts, and super slow DEXes. It will become pointless to use. L2s can only be as fast as the L1 can throw its contents into a block. There is no stopping what is coming. There is no viable fix for any current major crypto that doesn’t result in mass sell offs. VIAT is designed to be the last man standing in a post quantum world. A world where you don’t need to just have new post quantum cryptography but a new architecture, a new design, and a break from the BTC monolithic box that can scale and meet the needs of today.

Viat wallet/send demo should be out shortly shooting for about a week so anyone could run it to see how the process unfolds. You can visually traverse it unlike having to use a DB and block explorer like other cryptos. Still can be indexed of course for complex queries but it does have a physical filesystem.

How Viat transactions work: Sender: first creates a Transaction Block includes Meta info and Core details. Details such as direct prior transaction block, sending amount, and mana (gas/fuel-Viats smallest size denomination) are in the core section of a block. Transaction blocks are stored and referenced in linear order like a traditional blockchain. Sender: then creates a receipt block which directly references the prior transaction blocks hash and includes core details. Receipt blocks are stored like a DAG which is vital to ensure VIAT is able to have a realtime asynchronous network with as high as possible TPS. It trades deferred broad security over time for high TPS capabilities. All Blocks are stored based on block details which are used to create a pathway inside the Viat superstructure. Arbiters: then verify individual transactions one at a time. This type of miner is rewarded from Viat in the TX called mana. The total amount of mana is split up based on first come first served up to confirmation. They judge whether or not a transaction and its corresponding receipt block is valid. Auditors: then validate entire sections of the blockchain. This type of miner brings Viat into circulation. The blocks are always sent together which propagate through the network and become part of the Viat superstructure aka its blockchain. The Sender then would store the Transaction block in their wallet trie folder while the receipt block is stored in the receivers wallet trie. Code wise in the repo this involves really only 2 main classes TransactionBlock & ReceiptBlock in practice it would include more such as the Viat Superstructure Class to properly interact with the Viat blockchain/Network. VIAT Block Structure looks like this Block { Data { Meta, Core }, Hash, Signature } Meta contains details like timestamp and block type while core contains block specific info like sender, receiver, amount, mana, and other details specific to a transaction.

After I finish this giant commit that hasn’t yet reached the master branch (it’s still in the beta branch on GitHub located under the branch dropdown) then I’ll be able to get a very good initial timeline. A timeline I think many will be satisfied with for VIAT test net and the latest version of UW core services with implications on new docs/whitepaper & most particularly funding.

Based on current Viat speed results we will have the fastest wallet and transaction lookups by far. This means extremely fast verification and when you put that together with Viat’s one transaction one block policy you gain the ability to be the highest possible TPS based purely on the networks compute dedicated to verification and then of course propagation. Network wise propagation is again unmatched by our own custom UDP protocol. It’s a design that not only will offer the highest TPS but also extremely high security mostly due to our chosen hybrid Prost quantum primitives.
