@drkathrynmannix On a similar note, could I ask Dr Mannix, when someone has been in deep unconsciousness leading up to death, what would cause them to suddenly open their eyes as they take their last breath?

This book review moved me to tears. For 25 years, this man has carried the trauma of misunderstanding the changes in his mum's breathing as she was dying. We all need to understand & talk about dying. Nobody should have to carry that unnecessary burden. #ItsTimeToTalkAboutDying
