@OfficielKaybaye Well it depends on how he gets on next season - if the summer is successful and he gets Europe next season, then yes, he gets the following season too. If not, then I'd assume he will be changed.

@TMHG91 We know Kenny, we know. Eddie Howe is bigger than our football club, we’re desperately lucky we prized him out of Celtic’s hands etc.

@OfficielKaybaye It's a draw to the club, not a reason for sticking around. There's obviously more to it for keeping players at the club.

@TMHG91 Van de Ven and Romero amongst others want away from Tottenham. Mad when you think of their amazing training ground and stadium in London isn’t it?

For the last fucking time, a training ground that 90% of the players here will never step foot in, isn’t the reason we are fucking shit. Tottenham Hotspur have one of the best training grounds and stadiums in world football, in London, and are on the brink of relegation.

@OfficielKaybaye I'd say it's a valid point though. May get an up and coming European manager in the door, but any already established elite managers are going to be looking at already established elite clubs.

@ben_NUFC_ @PeterLarsen_01 @ToonFan14 What has "elite" got to do with NUFC btw? The club isn't elite, the facilities aren't elite, the revenues aren't elite and its recent haul of silverware isn't elite. Why do fans suddenly think the club should be going after - and getting - elite anything?

@PeterLarsen_01 @ToonFan14 So let me get this straight. You think a manager who isn’t elite and undeniably has had a bad season this year, is the man to lead Newcastle forward?

✍️ Forget debate about Eddie Howe’s future, it’s the Saudi ownership & club chiefs who need to step from the shadows & deliver 👇 Big read on NUFC state of play… mol.im/a/15671767

@RichySouthern @MagpieGroupNUFC This Newcastle project with PIF mirrors many of their own investment projects in Saudi itself. How many of these big projects like NEOM are talked up massively but are scaled back dramatically & cancelled? Actions speak louder than words and so far their actions have been muted.

For me, what we’re seeing on the pitch now is just a reflection of what’s been happening off it for a while. Constant churn behind the scenes, key projects drifting with deadlines that keep getting pushed, and no real sense of direction. You can’t talk about being “number one” and competing with the best in the world while running things in such an amateurish way and making poor appointments.

@NUFCMurph There's plenty of managers about - it's more who the club can actually attract. It's not as big or as nice a job as many would like to believe. From the outside looking in, the way some have turned against Howe down to one poor season won't look good either.

@TMHG91 @BridgesLeo123 He wouldn't work with Dan Ashworth, Ashworth said Howe made his role untenable. Mitchell, he wouldn't worth with him either and we'll never know if Mitchell was good or not because he couldn't do anything due to Howe. He chose Ross Wilson, that should never have been allowed.

PSR is stifling our progression, much more than Eddie Howe. He’s an elite coach but he’s not a miracle worker.

@callyb761 @BridgesLeo123 End of the day, if that was the case, then it's on the club to enforce the direction via the Sporting Director. I'm only aware of the Mitchell issue, and to be quite frank, I found him to be less than useless. I think Elanga would've been better with Isak. Wissa is a disaster.

@TMHG91 @BridgesLeo123 Newcastle have tried but Howe hasn't been able to work with anyone, he's insisted on premier league experience which has failed. Wisa and Elanga have been a disaster and you get no value buying in this country. He is too rigid tactically and isn't ruthless enough.

@2005JSSJ @RobertD84648663 @joearmstronnnng @CraigHope_DM Lol - I'd say the Anti-Howe sentiment is more an obsession on your end than my being Pro-Howe. You keep repeating the same the same shite, and are now taking media speculation that this player and that all want to leave as gospel. You're a child - or have the mental age of one.

@2005JSSJ @RobertD84648663 @joearmstronnnng @CraigHope_DM You're clearly mentally deficient - almost all of those players entered negotiations with the club, only to go elsewhere when better offers came in, because the club are painfully slow to act. But let's ignore that, it's all purely because nobody wants to play for Howe 👍

@callyb761 @BridgesLeo123 Recruitment (in and out) is the biggest issue like. Brentford, Brighton etc have all developed recruitment systems to suit a long term strategy. Strategy has been out of the window for NUFC for decades, that's the bit that needs to change.

@TMHG91 @BridgesLeo123 Bollocks, look at Brentford, lost their best players and manager and captain. It's been poor tactics, poor team selection, stale system and players who should have been sold a long time ago, thrown in with terrible recruitment. Playing our record signing striker in midfield!

@TMHG91 @callyb761 @BridgesLeo123 So it’s not the norm and in reality the league typically just about, give or take finishes not far off in order of wages spent.

@2005JSSJ @RobertD84648663 @joearmstronnnng @CraigHope_DM Because in three attempts, the club have been far TOO SLOW. Lost out on a number of targets due to being too slow. Sure, Howe may not be the most attractive, but if players come out & say they were close, then his attractiveness wasn't a factor, or he'd not picked up the phone.
