Big game tomorrow!! The senior players from the TMHS boys and girls basketball teams get to hit the hardwood one more time — and it’s all for a great cause. Here are TMHS seniors Mike Colameta and Sophi Cappiello alongside Officers Stephanie Casino and Jacob Saad, geared up and ready! For the third straight year, the men and women of TPD will take on the Tewksbury Memorial High School varsity basketball teams in a fun community game to send off the seniors. 📍 Tewksbury Memorial High School Gym 🚪 Doors open: 6:00 PM 🏀 Tip-off: 6:30 PM 💵 $5 at the door There will be halftime activities, concessions, and opportunities to meet and take photos with the students and officers after the game. All proceeds support the Meghan McCarthy Research Fund, which was created in 2011 to advance research into high-grade pediatric brain tumors through the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Program at Dana-Farber. Officer Saad caught up with TMHS Boys Basketball co-captain Jonny Sullivan this evening before their big playoff win to congratulate him on being named Basketball Player of the Year for the second year in a row—an incredible accomplishment. Over the past two years, Jonny has also built an outstanding resume in both football and basketball, earning additional Player of the Year honors, Super 26 All-State selection, and Boston Globe & Boston Herald All-Scholastic recognition.
