@xonebros Ah yes, nothing brings a community together like mocking the people trying to tell you they’re hurt or frustrated. Labeling passionate players as “Soft Quitters” because they dared to voice concern—then return, hoping things might change—isn’t a personality profile.

Community Archetype Bible – Vol. 2: The Soft Quitter A regular series defining the most iconic (and exhausting) personalities seen in gaming communities everywhere. 🧠 The Soft Quitter (noun) A player who’s “done” with the game—loudly, publicly, and often. They make an exit announcement more dramatic than a season finale… and then quietly log in again the next morning. The rage fadeout is never real. They don’t want to leave, they want attention. Favorite phrases: – “I’m uninstalling.” – “This was the final straw.” – “Good luck to the rest of you…” If you’ve worked in community, you’ve seen one. If you haven’t… congrats, you’re lucky. @xonebros It’s a reflection of a community that doesn’t feel heard. When the exit becomes permanent, it’s not because someone needed attention. It’s because they gave feedback, and the response was ridicule.

@xonebros Upland should make an email service that cost 100 UPX to send an email to someone with recipient receiving 90%. For non Upland players have a small monthly subscription that gets you some UPX each month to use. Now you can spam me as much as you want because I’m making UPX :)

Email spam should be illegal. It should be hard to email me. If it were, I’d actually use email…. it would mean something.
