It is with profound sadness that the Saskatchewan Roughriders mourn the loss of linebacker and team captain Jayden Dalke, who passed away in a car accident yesterday evening. A relentless warrior on the field, Jayden’s determination, toughness and work ethic inspired his teammates, who cared deeply for him and are heartbroken by his passing. Jayden had a unique gift of making the people around him feel special and valued. No one ever left a conversation with him without a smile. On and off the field, he was the true definition of what it means to be a Saskatchewan Roughrider. Our hearts go out to the entire Dalke family, who traveled the country to watch Jayden live his dream. We will miss him terribly and will never forget the impact he had on our lives and our team.
@TMS_II only unsuccessful from two yards to go on 2nd down. Which both setup for a sneak on 3rd down for a first day. And knowing him he’s probably pissed he was successful even those two times. So happy to have him!!! RIDERNATION loves Tommy and Tommy loves RiderNation! 💚💚💚

Had a great time catching up with @BallCoachJoeMo on the @STATEofSTATEpod. During our time together at Penn State, he was the driving force behind turning an offense that scored 23.2 PPG in 2015, to two of the best offensive seasons in program history. 2016 → 37.6 PPG 2017 → 41.1 PPG He has had an immense impact on my football career, and I am incredibly grateful to still have him in my life today!
