This is your argument, that the US defends Canada because it sells it some of it's military hardware. It's a silly premise considering there are so many alternatives, including their own defense industry.

@Sarumans_hand @JoJoFromJerz I'm not playing the what-if game. USSR (not Russia by the way) never attacked Canada. There was some espionage, but that is the full extent of USSR involvement.
