Broomsedge Golf Club - no secret I’m a big fan of this new build in the South Carolina Sandhills by Kyle Franz and Mike Koprowski. Looking back on 2024 from the midpoint of 2025, it’s clear that it was a remarkable year for high end new course design. Among those I’ve seen, Broomsedge, Pinehurst No. 10, Fall Line Club (2 courses), Old Barnwell, Sedge Valley are all exceptional. And of those I haven’t, Apogee, Tree Farm, Cabot Citrus. the Covey at Big Easy Ranch come to mind as places recommended and highly praised. 2024 might be the best year for new course development in the modern era.
