Today, the 23rd March, 2022, The County Assembly of Tharaka Nithi approved the County Executive and County Assembly Budget Estimates for the FY 2022/2023.

The Budget proposals for 2022-2023 retains the focus to support the five pillars of the County Development agenda in the CIDP, which are enhancing access to quality and affordable health services, transforming agriculture for improved production and productivity.. 2/3

The Tharaka Nithi CEC Finance, Economic, Planning and Trade gave a pronouncement of the budget highlights and revenue raising measures for the Financial Year 2022/2023 as per the provisions of the Constitution of Kenya and the Public Finance Management (PFM) Act, 2012 Section 133

These healthy talks and medical check ups are vital in achieving a healthy workforce both physically and mentally resulting in increased productivity of the workforce and Tharaka Nithi as a whole.

The County Assembly of Tharaka Nithi staff participated in a Health Day at the Assembly offices organized by the County Assembly Service Board. The Nairobi Women's Hospital was the key facilitator with a focus on stress and lifestyle diseases management at work. 1/2

Today, a team from the National Construction Authority (NCA) who are on an inspection tour of projects both public and private were hosted in the County Assembly of Tharaka Nithi (TNCA) offices.

The County Assembly of Tharaka Nithi adopted the following motions in their sitting held on Wednesday March 2, 2022:- 1. The renewal of Secondment contract of Mr. Amos Kiangwe Sikweya as the Clerk of the County Assembly for a period of three(3) years.
