TNMP recently held our monthly System Resiliency Plan meeting, where team members came together to review the progress we have been making across the system and discuss what is coming next. Staff shared updates on ongoing work and talked through future plans focused on strengthening the electric grid, improving reliability, and preparing for severe weather and other challenges. These regular check ins help ensure we stay aligned, accountable, and focused on building a safer, stronger, and more resilient electric system for the communities we serve.

As part of our North Texas quarterly safety meetings, Vegetation Management shared guidance on how to safely prune trees near our power lines. Ongoing safety conversations like these help keep our employees safe while supporting reliable electric service. 🌳

TNMP is working diligently to restore power to portions of Gatesville as the downtown fire has caused extensive damage. We are grateful to the numerous first responders and volunteers working tirelessly during this difficult time for the city.

This St. Patrick’s Day, Jayden, Meredith, and Brady are sharing the real ‘lucky charms’ that keep our communities safe around power lines and equipment. ⚡ If you spot a downed power line or pole, stay far away and call 911. 🔧 If you notice a damaged meter base, contact your retail electric provider so they can submit a ticket or send a technician. 🛠️ And before you dig—whether it’s a big project or a small one—call 811 so underground lines can be located safely. 💚 From our team to you, stay safe and have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

Heads up City of Hico Customers: TNMP continues extensive upgrades to enhance our reliability in your area. Please be aware that areas of Hico will experience disruption of power March 16-19, Monday through Friday. To minimize the effect on customers, we have adjusted the scale of work to smaller intervals to make the least amount of interruptions. Our crews and contractors will be contacting individual homeowners and business owners, as well as posting door hangers to notify the public of these planned outages, dates and times. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to upgrade our infrastructure to improve the reliability of your service!

Attention City of Glen Rose TNMP Customers: TNMP is working with OSMOSE to conduct a pole by pole safety inspection in your area. Please be aware that the Osmose crews will be out throughout the month of March ensuring the safety of poles and equipment. TNMP was proud to attend the 2026 State of the Cities luncheon hosted by the Lewisville Chamber of Commerce, Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce, and Highland Village Business Association.
