#MustRead | It was Tamil vs Hindi, then North vs South… and now #VandeMataram vs #TamilThaiVazhthu. How did this question even arise — which should be sung first? Who is behind this? Who is instigating this narrative? Political parties like #DMK, #TVK and others are clearly pushing agenda-driven, divisive politics. Let's decode 👇: 1. The CM, Ministers, and MLAs take oath as per the Constitution of India, but hesitate to accept the nation’s anthem being sung first. 2. We are united as one nation — India, that is Bharat. So what is the issue in singing the national anthem first in sequence? Understand clearly, Singing Tamil Thai Vazhthu last doesn’t make it any less important. Likewise, singing the national anthem last doesn’t reduce its value. This has nothing to do with priority or sequence but respect. 3. Consider this scenario: India is the “Mother”, and States/UTs are her “children”. Now tell me — is it wrong to sing(respect) for the mother first? 4. Another perspective: Our armed forces and security personnel protect us day and night for one reason — India. It’s not just their duty to show patriotism; it’s ours too. We all share equal responsibility. So, I don't see any issues in the sequence order. If Tamil Thai Vazhthu is neglected or not sung in events in #TamilNadu, that is a serious mistake. But questioning the sequence of what comes first is just to trigger the political fights. People who are triggering this unnecessary, agenda-driven divisive politics are the ones who once dreamed of a separate Tamil Nadu. The so-called “Rajapaksa family of Tamil Nadu” should remember — Tamil people are watching, and they know how to respond. #JustSaying

They record both Tamil and Sanskrit text, offering invaluable evidence of Chola ancestry, administration, and dynastic memory. They also reveal the Cholas’ maritime connections with Sriwijaya and the wider Indian Ocean world, including support for a Buddhist institution at Nagapattinam. For Tamil Nadu, this is deeply emotional. These are not mere artifacts, but symbols of our rich Tamil culture, history, and spiritual legacy.
