JOSH ALLEN WAS NEARLY THE #PATRIOTS FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK: The Cleveland #Browns reportedly offered Bill Belichick and New England the 4th overall pick in the 2018 #NFL Draft for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. At the time, Tom Brady was 40 years old, and Belichick was already looking to replace him. Allen would have been able to sit behind Brady for multiple seasons and develop. New England would have likely selected a QB with the pick, and Allen was the best one available. Allen grew up as a Pats fan and idolized Brady, attending multiple games as a kid/teenager. Brady would have mentored Josh, never ended up with the rival #Bills, and would have been the franchise QB for the next two decades, and Bill Belichick would still be the head coach. If NE had not turned down the Jimmy G. trade from Cleveland, the entire landscape of the league would be different. From Tom Brady straight to Josh Allen. 🤯🤯🤯
