@gambitbussie i see what you're trying to say, and i think i misinterpreted the intention of the og tweet. i think it's meant to hurt specific groups of people, and as much as i dont think it's productive to invalidate ppls shit, i understand where you're coming from

@TOXMENS No actually because I do infact believe a trans womans hair being forcibly cut is a traumatic experience. She however doesn't think a trans man experiences any negative experience with trying to dress our gender. The sarcasm tells you that I'm stating something I don't believe

"freely be tom boys" my clothes were ripped off if they were to masc but I'm glad you had nothing traumatized. I don't think your mom forcing you to get your hair cut was that bad actually.
LexaCola™@LexaCola1

@greyscalemoder @Th3wrrd3n “I got called a boy for cutting my hair :(“ Doesn’t qualify as transphobic violence, besides the original topic was trauma based off of Sex incongruent behavior We both know how miserable it was growing up with that, and knowing that girls got to freely be tomboys

@doggirljesus i think the topic deserves a little more nuance than you've given it, and it does hurt to see someone imply that all trans men, regardless of passing-status, intersection, or anything else, are oppressors when they don't really benefit from transmisogyny on a systemic level

actually I have friends who are trans men and friends who are trans women so I know for a fact that growing up being forced to conform to our agab was violent, traumatic, and got more than a few of us killed. saying one childhood was worse than the other is stupid and reductive.

@doggirljesus i just don't think that trans men have the privilege that you think they do. it seems like you're equating the same privileges that cis men have to trans men, when that's not accurate in most cases

@TOXMENS trans men are my brothers and i love them, theres nothing resentful about pointing out proximity to power thru privilege and the potential for abuse that affords

daily reminder than noone sees you as your gender, not even other trans people. if youre ftm your mtf friend will call you she and tell you how youre not a real man because unlike real men you arent "mean and gross". stealth is the only way

nearly all lil pooners are drawn by trans guys afab detransitioners end up gender critical bc they spent their entire time pre detransitioning menacing trans girls and then realized they didnt have to keep larping as being actually transsexual to torture trans women
taf 🝮@tafphorisms

Trans women will draw stuff like this and wonder why so many AFAB detransitioners end up gender critical. Little dood has a point. Maybe AMABs wouldn’t draw such disgusting period caricatures if they knew about girlhood.

@StarsBright_29 @h4ng3dbyh4l0s no because ur so right? ive done a lot of reading up on race theory, and generalizing whole groups of people, regardless of if they benefit from systems of oppression or not, is quite actually THE BASIS of racism

@h4ng3dbyh4l0s your inflexibility is a flaw, and you should reflect on the fact that your inability to absorb dialectics is stopping you from ever interacting with a whole group of people. that's the basis of racism. i hope you take the opportunity to grow from someone pointing it out.

@marxiananark i think the beauty of this post is that nobody actually says these kind of things in real life. i beg of you, find irl community where you can, because most people aren't actually this vile, and it's easy to think that they are when you're in an echochamber.

@h4ng3dbyh4l0s i fail to see how that's transmasculine people's problem though? there's plenty of people that hide behind an identity to be bigots, and applying that to a whole group of already marginalized people isn't particularly helpful. i'm very sorry that you've had a poor experience with

@doggirljesus i checked your account, you have good takes. this one isn't it though, and i think it reveals resentment towards transmasculine people. i don't know where that comes from, but it's not productive and it's seeping into the way you're treating other people.

@doggirljesus genuinely, are you willing to hear anyone else out about this? or are you just posting your opinion to incite infighting? because whether you like it or not, that's exactly what you're doing.
