@jesterbrained as a psych major, technically osfed is the diagnostic term. ednos is from the dsm-4,and we've since updated the diagnostic criteria. i don't think there's an issue with calling it ednos, but yes, technically it is outdated.

edtwt... do we call it ednos or osfed... i'm used to saying ednos but apparently that's the outdated term...

@TOXMENS Your words gave me courage. Realizing that nothing will change if I stay trapped in fear, and that I can at least try my best and still turn back if things don’t work out, makes me feel relieved and comforted. I’m going to remember this whenever anxiety starts creeping in again.

I know I have an ED, and part of me truly wants recovery. But another part of me is terrified of letting go of the habits and body I’ve held onto for so long. Change is scary, even when it hurts.

@Renaissance1827 if you want recovery, just try it and see how it goes. if you regret it, know that you can always lose the weight again and fo back to it. but you definitely get your life back, and that motivates me to this day. i love the people ive met so so much, and they push me to stay-

i might be relapsing but I am stopping myself because I DID THAT!!! I recovered once and I can do it again

@bunnibonesXO i was definitely treated better, but i also know it was superficial. nobody liked me for who i was, just what i looked like. you deserve to be loved for who you truly are, and those people who can love you unconditionally are out there!!

i really feel like my depression was giving up repackaged in a different way… it’s so easy to just give up, accept depression to take over your life, sit back, fall into addiction, and allow it to happen because of the depression…doing the ‘good’ stuff takes SO much more effort

@skinnlheart i thought so too. I've gained so so much weight with recovery, but im the kindest ive ever been, and people can recognize the love for myself spills out into my relationship with others. you've got this, and im proud of your progress!
