My heart goes out to the parents of the children attacked in Southport and particularly the bereaved parents. Whilst their pain will lessen over time, their loss is for ever, tho their family support will pull them through. We send them our love

Today, on July 30th, 2024, we remember our dear Anthony, marking 19 years since his tragic passing. We honour his legacy by celebrating the remarkable work carried out by the Foundation in his name. In the past 12 months, the Foundation has supported over 1,500 victims of race and religious hate crimes.  Our educational mission continued to champion the next generation, as we visited 78 schools, delivered 192 sessions to 18,727 young people, and supported over 400 teachers through our racial literacy training. We initiated an innovative 3-year Tackling Racism in Schools Programme, reaching over 10,000 pupils.  We continued to collaborate with public services, delivering anti-racism training to over 5,000 members of Merseyside Police.  We provided bespoke learning to staff at more than 40 businesses, local authorities, and organizations. Through our positive social media messages, we have reached over 5.5 million people.  We remained committed to supporting various community events that bring people together. We extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who have supported the Foundation, some since the very beginning. We couldn't have achieved this without your support. We promise to never give up our fight against racism and hate crime, striving to build stronger and safer communities. Anthony Walker, your legacy lives on in our hearts, in the hearts of our communities, and in those who find strength in your story to speak out and stop hate. Please continue to support our work and honour Anthony’s legacy. To donate £10 per month, text AWFMONTHLY to 70085. To make a one-time donation, text ONEOFF followed by your donation amount to 70460. Dare to Change. Dare to Care. Dare to Love.
