Post record-breaking flood situation on the @TPT_National in Heaton Mersey @StockportMBC : sections of the trail marked in red on the map have large deposits of mud/silt/sand, making them almost impassable on a bike. The Council has been informed, but it may take time to clear.

Looks like the River Mersey in the Didsbury area of south Manchester reached its highest level in at least 23 years when the new gauge was installed. Extensive local flooding reported.

Re-signed the @TPT_National through @StockportMBC now that most of the long-term diversion route is no longer needed. The Council has also amended their TPT diversion signage👍. Hopefully no-one will now get lost in Stockport Town Centre🤞🤞🤞
