@stankRat_ The thing for me is, having more xp does not make you survive more raids, having a bigger stash does not make you win more pvp fights and having 2 more slots on your pockets doesn't make your kit the new meta.

I don’t know what corpo shill came up with this bogus terminology, ‘pay for convenience;’ the term is a derivative of P2W and promotes predatory monetization strategies by making the practice seem less intrusive and more accepted.
Pay for convenience is pay to win.
Unheard edition snowballs so hard now gaining access to max traders in a fifth of the time it takes for someone on a standard account; not to mention +20 Mil (for not having to upgrade their stash), and less tasks required to hit max traders (farming 0.2 more LL).
The player skill argument is moot here, too.

Let me expand on WHY I very specifically don't call what BSG or alot of other games do P2W, but rather pay for convience. The term pay 2 win has become a broad term in internet lexicon that is used to describe too many games. "Pay to win" is reserved in my mind for the most egregious cases. Games like Star Wars Battlefrontand and Clash Royal. PvP games where you pay money for direct advantages against other players. Tarkov just doesn't rise to this level, in my opinion. Me thinking EoD or Unheard is not "P2W" is not a defense or justification of the stuff BSG does, or other games that monitize progression. It is an attempt (probably futile one) to not dilute the term I see as a far more harsh label. If you wana use P2W as a broad adjective, feel free. I'm just not going to agree with you.

I kinda thought this post was a joke for some reason but we just had a 6 hour downtime to add more stuff to the $250 version of the game.
I dont think anyone would have complained about a 20% exp buff across the board. Everything else in here should be part the game.

We have started the installation of update 1.0.4.9 for #EscapefromTarkov. The installation will take between 4 and 6 hours, but may be extended if required. The game will be unavailable during this time. Starting today, Escape from Tarkov editions receive new bonuses in addition to what they previously provided. Your active edition will increase the experience gain in raid: ● Left Behind Edition - 7% XP bonus ● Prepare for Escape Edition - 9% XP bonus ● Edge of Darkness Limited Edition - 12% XP bonus ● The Unheard Edition - 20% XP bonus, applied to all group members Group bonus does not stack with other bonuses or with itself. For example, if players with Prepare for Escape and The Unheard Edition play together, each will receive 20% more XP. Same goes for a group of multiple The Unheard Edition players. Apart from that, owners of The Unheard Edition now have an additional opportunity for customization - it now allows using clothing regardless of faction. This feature applies to all tactical clothing, including items from BattlePass and Tactical Maps from EFT: Arena. These additions will make upgrades more valuable without affecting gameplay during the raid in any way. New bonuses are also available to players who already own the upgraded editions.

I'm doing a little challenge/test to see how long it takes to get to prestige 3 in Tarkov, solo, without Arena.
Last week I started on my alt account with 415 hours. Yesterday I finished New Beginning and am now ready to hit prestige 1. Total online time is now 451 hours with exactly 100 raids ran including scavs.
36 hours total to prestige 1 is far more attainable than than it was before!
Will post another update when I get to prestige 2!

not to really hop on the "bsg sucks" train thats been happening for forever. but this shit made me sad😭. Extracted from labs and game froze on black screen. I alt f4-ed and seems like it reset to before the raid. seems like a common issue that people have. extremely annoying.

I switched to these after the last optimization patch, game feels amazing, this might do you and PLENTY of people some good.
I can't drop below 59 fps on streets, and my microstutters aren't terrible, 80 fps in combat on streets, while streaming on 1 PC !!!

Still can't get over 60 FPS on Customs. No idea why. 4070ti 32 Gigs 3200mhz ram 5800X3D 2TB NVME drive I've tried every guide, every advice, every "trick". Just doesn't make sense.

Golmund is a good step although I’m not sure about clustering three flags so close.
Changes otherwise are ok except horizontal recoil which is too much IMO.

@MrBubblyTTV I geniuenly enjoy prestiging fr, like most people think "Fuck, I gotta do setup and all these hard quest again" but I see it more as "I get to do setup/SBIH/Test Drive again but this time people have good gear? Where do I sign?" (Yes I know I am crazy hardcore player)
