@dean8001 @altontowers Yes, they let people queue this morning but said it would be a late opening then told everyone to go at about 10:30 then seconds later the op came over tannoy to say open the queue line. Presumably they removed the 2nd train to work on it and just get the ride open on one train

@SchwurDesJosh We popped in this afternoon and was shocked how slow it was running with guests on. There was a similar ‘close call’ a few hours earlier too

@CalebGill22 We was told on the pre opening behind the scenes tour that all of the videos didn’t work with the system so have had to be redone

While on paper these additions to the pre boarding of Thorpe rides are great, it doesn’t work. You can’t hear the voice overs being played at all. If they added graphics to go along with the voiceovers it could work a lot better than it currently does.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to open Hyperia on Saturday the 25th of May. The rest of the resort remains open. Anyone with pre-booked tickets for today will be eligible for a free return visit. Please check our website for further details.
