When Fjord sees the chair move, he grins. But he can't actually see Caleb, and doesn't want to hurt him, so his movements to reach for the wizard are awkward and not very fast. "Caleb..! I know you're there!"

Tilting his head, Lucien gave an amused snort. "You mean Molly /was/ your friend. And I am the..shall we say 'shadow' of him?"

He blinks. Is that what's happening here? "Oh-.." He clears his throat. "Um, sorry. Yes. Thank you."

"if i have to sleep more so do you. it is only fair. we don't need our faaavorite wizard to be all sleepy too" hands come up to cup the mans face, giving a slight squish.

being so close and at an odd angle. "caaaaaleb .. caaaaaleeeeeb. you should * totally let me braid your hair. ooh! you can braid mine after!"

This part is embarrassing. Having looked, he already knows there's only 200 pages, but he still looks again, brow furrowed, in case he's wrong. When he looks up again, Caleb is gone. "No, you see here-- Caleb?" He looks around ... He blinks, as it clicks what happened. "CALEB!"

"Socially? No, I suppose not. But if we need to talk to someone behind a desk, and when there's red tape and bureaucracy bullshit to navigate, you're front and center." He playfully salutes.

"That iiiis... A common misconception." He avoids eye contact, giving a slight nod of understanding and raising a finger. "I am very good at /bullshitting/ that I have social skills. But it's rather exhausting, very quickly. And only lasts in short bursts. -

He half falls for it, extending the book toward Caleb, like they're solving a puzzle together, his teasing air all but forgotten. "No, see I looked at the index, and I couldn't find anything."
