You've never taken risk and you feel you're smarter than someone who has lost everything because you played it safe? Just know that what they've learnt from those losses, you can't buy it with money and they've already paid with time (experience).

June actually decided to be very nice😭❤️ The May setbacks just set me up for a crazy run this month. Up to $15k funded capital secured since this post, can we get it to $20k?🥹 ✅ passed $6k evaluation with @fortraderscom ✅ $10k @Maventrading ♻️ won a 2-step Atlas $10k account from @Drbills2026 space. 2 weeks in, can June get even better?🥲

In my 8 years of trading, I’ve realized that PDFs and videos are only the tip of the iceberg. Eventually, you’ll develop your own trading style and edge something no book or course can fully teach.

A reminder from Atomic Habits by James Clear: “It doesn't make sense to continue wanting something if you're not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don't want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment.”

Many of you are carrying the weight of the entire family on your shoulders with the little $100 you’re making. You rushed to announce to everyone that you’re now a trader. You sold dreams of withdrawals and financial freedom before you had even built profitability talk more consistency. Now every losing week feels like the end of the world because expectations have become bigger than your account. Keep your mouth shut. Build quietly. Let the results do the talking. I used to tell my friends that, The top 5 ways to fail as a trader is - Unnecessary family burden.

July would make it 6 years of this FX trading journey Here are five lessons/regrets I have acquired over the years that I think the newer guys or the stagnant traders should know 1. No matter how you want to do it. Trading would still take time to make sense to you. You can learn all the technicals in a week but you still have to experience losses, wins, slow trades, slippage, news manipulation, breached accounts, Payouts. You can't learn the experiential part in just a week. It takes years. 2. The key to succeeding as a trader is to change from your inside. Become more patient, learn to read properly, be patient to actually study, talk less and observe more, focusing on consistent gains over quick gains. All these inner qualities would make you a better trader 3. Getting an alternative source of income is non negotiable except you have money already. 4. There's no best strategy. It's the trader that makes it work However, strategies that have to do with fundamentals and liquidity runs seem to work better. Do well to integrate that. 5. You need an actual mentorship and not free YouTube videos. You can't ask questions on YouTube and expect a prompt answer but you can ask your mentor. So, look for a good mentor with track record and pay for his time and guidance Bonus tip : avoid trading with people money until you are very consistent. Focus on prop firm funding instead and always go for the accounts you can easily afford. Hope this makes sense??

📋 WEEKLY TRADING REVIEW : DO THIS EVERY WEEKEND Be honest. Nobody grows by lying to themselves. ⚠️ 1. Your mistakes this week What did you do wrong? Be brutal. 👁️ 2. Trades you missed Which setups showed up but you didn’t take and why? ✅ 3. Trades you executed Every trade. Winners and losers. Log them all. 🚪 4. Trades you closed too early What happened after you exited? 😔 5. Break-even trades that ran without you You moved to BE, got stopped out, then it went exactly where you thought. 🧠 6. Why weren’t you confident in your setup? Your rules said yes. What held you back? 📊 7. TradingView vs MT5 : why the difference? Profitable on the chart, different result in your account. What happened? ⏳ 8. What impatience cost you: Where did rushing in or rushing out hurt you? 🎯 9. What you’re doing differently next week: Actual rules. Concrete changes. Losses are tuition. Reviews are how you actually learn from them. Don’t waste an expensive week, extract the lesson and move on💆‍♂️

Millionaire at 27. Billionaire at 41. Trillionaire at 54, today. That's Elon Musk's timeline. 13 years from multi-millionaire to billionaire. 14 more years to the first trillion. The part the numbers hide. He didn't cash out and chill. Zip2 money went into PayPal. PayPal money went into Tesla and SpaceX. By 2008 he was almost broke. The money never sat still. It kept getting reinvested.

if you are struggling to find your gift in life as a young person, walk through this piece. & pay solid attention; i have a working theory and this is it: i don't think your gift is hidden from you, i believe you can't find it cos you've seen it every day of your life. it is called the curse of familiarity. listen to me. familiarity doesn't only breed contempt; it also causes blindness. i'll tell you something fascinating about your brain. do you know that right now your nose is in your field of vision? you can see it. you've always been able to see it but your brain quietly edits it out cos it is familiar and i believe many people suffer from the same problem when it comes to their gift. the things that make us remarkable often feel ordinary to us cos we've lived with them for so long. we assume they can't be valuable cos they don't feel rare anymore. look, familiarity has a tendency to hide significance. we get so busy searching for our future that we overlook the evidence we've been carrying all along. the first person to undervalue your gift is usually you. yes, you and while everybody else experiences your gift as a miracle, you're busy experiencing it as muscle memory. i've been there and it has happened to me many times. people will call it exceptional and you'll call it normal. the things that come naturally to you may be the very things that have been supernaturally assigned to you & that which you cannot acknowledge, you cannot maximize. i will always tell the younger generation the truth. in this short life, during your hard times and good times, pay close attention to patterns and to what has followed you through all those seasons. pay attention to what people consistently come to you for. what is that thing that has become invisible through familiarity? there is a difference btwn when something is hidden from your sight and when something is hidden by your sight, buena suerte 👍

Last year during my NYSC, I was trying to combine it with Forex. Many times, my setup would form while I was working. By the time I got access to my charts again, market has moved. I missed entries. Missed opportunities. Missed payouts. That’s when I realized something; Trading isn’t just about knowing where price will go. You also need to be available when the opportunity presents itself. A lot of people think trading is something you can casually squeeze into a busy schedule. Maybe for some trading styles, yes. But for active traders, the market doesn’t care that you’re in a meeting, shifts or at work. If you’re not there when your setup appears, the market moves on without you. That’s one reason I consider professional trading a full-time job.
