@chn_mustermann @yashu23111995 @HPhobiaWatch Cricket need time and a big area to play , thats why it was difficult to bring it in Olympics.
IOC finally managed to make it work.
English

@yashu23111995 @HPhobiaWatch What logic is this , suppose that half of the people who watch cricket in India stop watching it, percent will go down for India and up for all the other countries in the world.
Will it make Cricket a global sports then ??😂😂
English

@TRO_01 @HPhobiaWatch Thats the fact if a sport is concentrated in one country its not global
70% of views from India
Remaining 20% from pak, sl, bangaldesh, afg which are high population density region
English

@thetatemotive Andrew Pimp Tate, when his reach is down.
Lemme take the name of India.🤣🤣
English

@yashu23111995 @HPhobiaWatch India subcontinent which is as big as Europe and has more than a dozen countries.
Also a major sport in Australia , New Zealand , South Africa , England , Zimbabwe.
If i follow ur definition there will be no Global team sport other than Football.

@novice_strytelr @VIVEK1888 I mean it is better to have 50 nations but competition is stuck at the top level in almost every sport.
Some countries will excel and others will just come to participate.
Fifa is far better than ICC in nurturing fillers.
English

@TRO_01 @VIVEK1888 It maters, coz that decides the rigor of the qualifications and preparedness at the grassroot level for a nation.

Cricket didn’t stop football from growing.
Another debate is going on about why India is lacking in football despite having a 1.4 billion population.
Every time the argument comes that people are not supporting and watching football as they do for cricket. It is only because of cricket that football is not rising. That is a bullshit argument.
Don’t you know the condition of cricket in India before 1983? People hardly watched it before India achieved anything, but after India won the World Cup it became more popular and motivated kids to play it. An example is Sachin Tendulkar, who decided to play for India after watching them win the WC and then revolutionized cricket in India and the world.
So football needs someone to rise up, give hope to the country that we can do this, and win something on a grand stage.
A few years back Sunil Chhetri appealed to people to come and watch; then people went to the stadium and supported the team, but after a few days it all faded because of performance.
Sunil took the game ahead to some level but not far enough for people to start going to the stadium or watching it regularly.
However, infrastructure is needed, but we know until you do something extraordinary the market will not invest money.
Once hockey was so popular in our country but what happened? Their performance dipped and now hockey has disappeared completely.
So someone like Sachin needs to emerge in football to take it to the world level.
Note- There are many more technicalities also in this debate so feel free to add.

English

@novice_strytelr @VIVEK1888 Doesn't matter if 50 teams participate in FIFA or 14 in ICC WCs.
At end of the day we can just pick 8 teams from both the side and one of them will win the WC.
Fifa has more competitive teams than ICC but there is no difference in number of WC winners.
English

@TRO_01 @VIVEK1888 Why?
Can you explain your logic of 10 champions!!
English

@novice_strytelr @VIVEK1888 Football must have more than 10 WC champions then.
Do they???🤔
English

@VIVEK1888 1983 comparison is stupid, cricket was never played by more than 10 competitive teams.
Any sport that have more than five european teams, India has failed to excel... hockey is an example
Neeraj Chopra is an exception of Indian Sports circumstances, not a norm...
English

Engine is ours unlike BrahMos, STFE from GTRE/BATL, 18 per year in LSP. Sea skimming, almost twice the range of BrahMos-ER (800 km). No comparison but still
I doubt it'll cost even 50% of it, perfect to spam enemy AD. USA was spamming 50 TLAMS per day on Iran

@maddy41267424 @PondsFcb @wristofkohli I gave u an answer but u were so obsessed with ur point that u didn't understood it.
Everybody has their liking and disliking , if u can be obsessed with Football , others can be obsessed with cricket.
It is not a niche sport just because u said so.
English

@TRO_01 @PondsFcb @wristofkohli Football isn't my personality. Changing the topic because you can't answer the point seems to be yours.
English

@maddy41267424 @PondsFcb @wristofkohli Why are u so obsessed with football?
Is it ur whole personality ??
English

@PondsFcb @wristofkohli No one's denying the hard work. We're questioning why a nation of 1.4 billion treats success in one niche sport as proof of overall sporting greatness.
English

@Spotyt_247 How its a BCCI problem then ?
Why not all the football fans come together and do a mass protest against AIFF ?
Do u all really think blaming BCCI or cricket will help prospects of football in India.
English

@TRO_01 India may have more fans ( we have 1.4 billion yaar ) but no coaches, training facility or culture. Even national team player like Ashique, couldn't find a proper training facility during off season.
Cricket has a lot of Infra and support, so such comparison isn't fair.
English

Zee Bhai is wrong but not so wrong here...
No sport got any fair chance against the shear marketing BCCI did. But given a chance football can take over... Just look at how Australia is reacting to a group stage win.
India is now used to dominating cricket.
Harsh 17 @harsh03443
Indian football fans are now blaming the BCCI because they fear that if Indian football grows, cricket will be finished forever in india 😭😭
English

@Shivam_h9 Saying it for 1000th time , the only organisation who can do a revolution in India is RSS / BJP.
No other party or organisation have that capacity or capability to do that.
English

@SambitPradhan9 @gharkekalesh I'm hearing Cricket is dead from pre IPL era.
It will never die.
English

@gharkekalesh He is somewhat right about it. The next gen is going to be even more busy than the current. It all comes down to time mgt. Football match hardly takes 2 hrs at max. Meanwhile the T20 format is 4-5 hrs. ODI is almost dead and aparat from Aus and Eng test is on the verge of it.
English

@gharkekalesh Even a sub 50 rank in fifa is a bigger achievement than winning cricket world cup
