@Raptors I just don’t get the Raptors’ rotations. Why yank two starters every time we’re leading? And Shaed, as the PG, doesn’t even manage the game tempo—instead he cranks it up and lets the opponent score in transition nonstop. Then Darko only puts the starters back in once we’re down.

He’s not worth that much, and there are plenty of cheaper centers on the market who are just as good. The Spurs traded him away in the first place exactly because his asking price was too high.

I think the Raptors being interested in AD/Sabonis has less to do about them wanting to make an upgrade at the position and more about the state of Jakob Poeltl’s back.

The way some people talk about Pascal Siakam on this app man... Seriously one of the most underrated players of all time. Him making the All-Star team was such a no brainer

@JustEsBaraheni CMB’ finger still isn’t fully healed, but the team needs him badly. As a rookie, he’s already incredible for playing through the pain. Yet their front office still can’t trade for a single center.

You can hear Scottie yell at CMB "GO UP" when he passes it twice. His teammates have constantly been telling him to shoot it more in the paint.

Before the season Brandon Ingram said he wanted to remind the NBA what he was capable of. After playing in 49 of 51 games & leading the resurgent Raptors in scoring, he said he was a little 'stung' when he didn't get named an all-star, but it just means he's got more to prove:

@IngramAlerts I just think sometimes coaches honour past/recent performances. This time next year BI gets that nod, I bet. He's been great.

For coaches it likely came down to Powell/ Siakam/Ingram for spot. Tough call. Powell has been great this year & knocking on the door for a while; Siakam coming off Finals & hasn't missed a beat even tho Pacers have melted. Ingram being healthy enough to be in mix is a win, tbh:

In Nola Brandon Ingram was putting up great numbers and caring the team but was told he wasn’t selected because the team didn’t have a successful winning record! This year Pacer’s sent an Allstar with an unsuccessful record at 15 in the east.

@michaelgrange I think Ingram should sit out for a while this season, so everyone can see what the Raptors are really like without him—whether they can still hold onto a top-four spot in the Eastern Conference, and if he’s truly worthy of an All-Star selection.
