Colorado spring game thoughts: -A lot made of Colorado's lack of size but I think they are plenty big up front on both OL and DL (maybe too big). -I really like what they did in the transfer portal especially on defense (10,314 snaps from last year). -In transition schematically again as they're on their 3rd OC and DC in 4 years. -QB Lewis looks okay (I'd like to see him put on 5-10 lbs of muscle). -I upgraded them around a TD from last year. -Problem is the schedule...11 Power 4 opponents. Gotta get a road upset win in September (at Georgia Tech, at Northwestern, at Baylor) or it could get ugly. Could be underdogs in 10 games. -Projected record: 4-8 Standouts: WR Danny Scudero (San Jose) RB Damian Henderson (Sacramento St) DL Samu Taumanupepe (Baylor) 375 pounds! It’s coaches like this that have pushed me to Coach the way I do for 33 years. The world would say he is one of the best college basketball coaches there is. Because he wins. But, he uses fear and anger to motivate his players. That’s no way to live. That’s not my kind of coach. Transactional vs Transformational. Fear vs Love. Immature vs Mature. It’s like watching a 2 year old having a temper tantrum. Tough to watch.
