He had a poor game, no doubt, but this is the 6th time Konate has been taken off when Liverpool were behind.
They lost all of the previous 5.
As a tactic, I'm not sure that it works.
@RalphyHeraldSun GWS (along with a fair few other clubs) were also ravaged during that time and yet, none of them have had anywhere near the same amount of handouts as GC.
@TSHickman Maybe but they got ravaged by Vic clubs for so much of that time. They lost their co captains in one year. They contributed to that but they get their turn. Geelong won with father sons Ablett, Scarlett and Hawkins in the team. Ablett is up with Buddy as this century’s best
@eddiegibbs The senior individual who is unhappy with your work should spend more time focusing on their own abysmal performance, because this has become untenable for multiple people at the club.
🤬 Cowardly Football, Cowardly Outcome
Beaten 2–1 by a basically relegated Wolves side who played with a proper game plan, whilst Liverpool shrank from the fight.
This was cowardly football. Slow, safe, sterile. Possession without bravery, shape without intent. It looked like a team afraid to take risks and a manager content to let things drift.
Arne Slot must answer for that. So must Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards. They sanctioned this direction by not replacing this man when they should have, they backed this approach, they are every bit as culpable as the players that are producing these diabolical performances.
I was told someone senior inside the club is unhappy with the things I’ve written this season. I’ll keep saying it as I see it, it’s the only way I know.
@LFC_Australia How does he keep getting away with this absolute train wreck. Slow, boring play that has zero creativity. Abysmal doesn’t even come close to accurately describing the inability in his management this season.
