So contacted the GC to alert them to a "bookie" Amonbet with 45x bonus playthrough. They say they have no record of them. I saw advertised on Facebook. Going to follow the process and see how I get on. @chrisgambler247 @geoffbanksbet @BetfairProTrade

@BetfairCS Hi, can't see many UK greyhound markets available yet only 5 tracks showing. Normally available the night before. Can you take a look pls
English

@tcdc_data Can we see somewhere the exact filters / data fields, prior to purchase?

Gut feel doesn't pay out. Data does.
SportsEdgePro Greyhounds lets you prove it — using millions of real Betfair BSP records dating back to 2015.
Filter by trap, track, grade, distance, LTO form and more. See exactly what your system would have returned. Back or lay — your choice.

@chrisgambler247 He knew how to talk bollix and dragged the salary out for as long as he could. Well done.

@Gregess76 @LidlGB In asda a while back security took toilet roll out of my open boot and claimed I hadn't paid for it. I had to dig out receipt from bin to prove it was the first item I'd scanned. I went along with it cos I want them to challenge people. I am white, middle aged man so easy prey.
English

Hi @LidlGB. My wife was in your store today and was accused of shoplifting a bottle of Fairy laundry detergent which she previously purchased elsewhere . The store ‘detective’ went into her bag without her permission, they scanned said item and ok. Rude and disrespectful

A message to Restore Britain members...
Be ready. They are going to come for us. The establishment. Reform. The other parties. The entire rotten lot.
It's already started.
We are not in this to make friends. We are in this to fundamentally change how our country is governed.
We are in this to Restore Britain.
That will mean pissing people off, and we already are.
Good.
That means we're making progress.
There will be insults, there will be unpleasant names.
Ride it out, stay the course. Eyes on the prize.
I will promise you two things - we are going to stay true to our beliefs, and we are going to be honest.
Who knows where that will end up taking us.
They've skipped the ignoring and laughing part, going straight to fighting.
We all know what comes next.

@jhorsewhisperer why do you not hoover it all up youself ?

When you store passwords, you never save them as they are. You hash them. Hashing turns something like “password123” into a random looking string such as “a7f8k2m9x4”.
The problem is that if two people use the same password, the hash will also be the same. Hackers know this and already have huge lists that match common hashes to the original passwords.
To fix this, we use salting.
A salt is some random extra text added to the password before hashing.
So:
For User A, “password123” becomes “password123xyz”.
For User B, it becomes “password123abc”.
Even if both use the same password, the final hashes look completely different.
This means even if a million people use "password123", every stored value in your database still looks unique and hackers have to crack each one separately which makes their job much harder.

What is salting and why do we salt passwords?

@geoffbanksbet my bad i didnt see betfair 👀😀. However doesn't state exchange or sportsbook and if the stakes included any lay bets. Worrying times
English

@geoffbanksbet if they were trading they would have been closed down after the 5th losing bet. if you get hundreds of bets on you are not getting value and not trading. Dont agree with the fine anyway.
English

Quite normal exchange activity for a trader. Not in any way a marker of 'harm'
Why? Because they didn't find harm in the user!
This is simply shutting down gambling- by the gambling commission, as they run about dishing daily fines
Let me explain
A trader (thousands of them on Betfair) often loses to the exchange because they 'win' off the higher priced bookmaker
But clearly, in this example, the user wasn't contacted to establish what his betting pattern is. It's simply ignorant regulating of a product they do not understand
