Which is why I qualified it with a 15 HCI. If you’re a 20+ and unable to keep the ball in play, yeah, you’re not worried about short game as much because you’re still shanking shots into the hazard every round. If you’re breaking 90 regularly, you’re usually keeping the ball in play, and somewhat consistent ball striking. There’s definitely levels to this. I was mostly talking about golfers that have a general sense for what they’re doing and how they’d stand to improve from there.

@NUCLRGOLF Any golfer that’s a 15 HCI, the difference between that and a scratch, mostly comes down to short game. Most never really appreciate how many shots are lost around the greens until you focus on improving in that area of your game.

@NUCLRGOLF @TWlegion Learn to hit your driver in play. Most important club in the bag to lower your scores is hitting your driver in play.
