After more than three years of backlogging, @literature_med has finally published my essay on “good deaths” in Maria Gerhardt and Susan Sontag’s illness narratives. The essay critiques the doxa of dignity that underpins so much work in the medical humanities. Open access below:

theory ppl: anyone knows where to look for a good (i.e., not too vague) account of the notion of "entanglement"? One that says more than just "its complicated; everything is very messy and interrelated"🐋🦠🍐
