⚫️ RUSS STONE UPDATE ⚪️ We are really pleased to say that Russ is in good spirits having undergone a successful operation on a double leg fracture sustained in Saturdays match against @AFCMango1st — All being well, Russ will be home later today 😊🫶 Russ has passed on his thanks to everyone who assisted on the day and to all those who have expressed their well wishes, words which Chipping Sodbury Town FC would like to echo 🖤🤍 We are now all right behind Russ as he begins his long road to recovery and we look forward to seeing him back in the black and white soon 💪 #SaintsAndSodsTogether

⚫️ MATCH ABANDONED ⚪️ The Reserves game this afternoon was abandoned by the referee following an unfortunate leg injury to Sods player, Russ Stone. We would like to thank everyone who assisted Russ before the ambulance arrived, including several @AFCMango1st supporters who were quickly on the scene and did a fantastic job helping to look after him. We are awaiting further news on the extent of Russ’s injury, but everyone at the club is wishing him all the very best and a speedy recovery 🖤🤍 #SodsTogether
