Great week in Athens crowning two national champions! 🎾 Grateful for the dedication and leadership of the @NCAATennis Committee as we continue advancing the sport, and thankful to @UGAAthletics for hosting a tremendous championship. This year featured meaningful enhancements, including ball kids, revised match times, stronger sponsor engagement, expanded international streaming access, and the use of ELC. There is more work ahead, and we have a strong list of improvements we are working to get across the finish line this year alongside @ITA_Tennis to continue elevating college tennis.

We’re proud to recognize Sebastian Nuñez as our April Account Executive All‑Star at @DePaulAthletics. Sebastian played a key role in driving strong momentum for volleyball season tickets, contributing to a record number of season tickets with 5 months still to grow! He also continued pushing men’s basketball deposits forward during an important stretch. His consistency and impact make us very proud to announce him as an All-Star for the second year in a row! #TeamTaymar

That’s a fair question, but from the many conversations I’ve had with athletic directors, that correlation isn't being made. The ITA and NCAA Tennis Committee are currently reviewing the pathway from top to bottom to ensure equity in access, cost containment, and a structure that allows the best athletes to compete, while also being thoughtful about the impact on programs and institutions.

I wonder if the NCAA's decision to move the NCAA singles/doubles championships to November permanently will cause MORE universities to cut tennis programs because of the increased travel for programs to events in the Fall to try to qualify players for the NCAAs

I’d also encourage the NCAA committee to make lineup protests and decisions public.

I wonder if any team challenged DK at 1. I’d argue all three teams on the Wake side of the bracket would be helped by flipping DK and Mees. These stats are not updated (DK is 6-9 , and Mees is 16-3 in completed duals according to the ITA) but the point stands.

Yesterday, we hosted a pre-construction meeting with our Lincoln Park neighbors to discuss the next 14 months of work as we build DePaul’s new athletic training facility. We’re grateful to our partners at Bulley & Andrews for their commitment to minimizing impact, communicating openly, and working closely with our neighbors throughout the project.
