As we were conducting our 3rd grade PLC, a concerns was students having trouble understanding and remembering the vocabulary. Breaking down and revisiting the learning targets will help students understand the vocabulary better. Thank you Ms. Jenkins for modeling this for us

Six codes of 20 to move dash. So our whole is 6/6. Next, they figured out what would be equivalent to 1/2, coded dash, and found that 1/2, 2/4, & 3/6 are all equivalent! @MunfordElem @TCBOE @AMSTI_UM @howardkeb @TTDenson4

Yesterday my students learned about unit fractions in math then we ended the day using lego robotics to learn about speed. Steam was fun and I loved learning with my students! @TCBOE @MunfordElem @WendyBwgail @clifton_class #LeadingTheWay
