Zero interest in Eurovision this year. Without even wanting to start on the political aspect (though this has caused many of my favourite countries to pull out), the UK entry is diabolical. Hard to think we had such an incredible moment with Sam Ryder only 4 years ago.

The problem with this whole debate is once again it’s getting bogged down as being an issue of identity. Instead of it being an issue of residency. Does anyone think when I first arrived in Scotland on a temporary visa, that I should have been eligible for public office?

As Bring Your Love drops down the UK charts, it's still about the bigger picture. The fact that she's the most played artist on the radio for two weeks running - and back on Radio 1 is such a huge win. And we have more music (probably) before the album release.

@cainvarneryt @nournoornur I think it's mainly about sex. If they think you're available they'll be interested in your friendship. Many friends have hooked up on the apps. The rarity is a good gay friend who doesn't want to have sex with you. Add to that I think social status matters.

A student from India who does not hold British citizenship and is here on a temporary visa has just been elected to the Scottish parliament to serve a four-year term (salary £80,000 per year). How in God’s name can something like this be allowed to happen? Our democracy is sick.
