@PitcherellaJ Killed Temple a very good temple team that hosted college game day and were 7-0 and 22nd to start and 2 mins from a victory over 9 ND in that game. Ward killed any Owls momentum anytime they got anything going.

Greg Ward brought up way late with an atrocious WR core no Jackson WK 1 & an injured & aging Alshon. Ward was a monster QB @ UH who beat #Temple in the #AAC ‘15 inaugural title game. Not 👀 popping # ‘s but always a fringe roster cut in preseason. Ward should’ve been up #NYGvsPHI

2 side notes on the #Eagles ... Anyone who’s expected the team to “turn it on” has fooled themselves. Same mediocre at BEST team this season. Listening to Merrill & Mike on he way home & if they’re eluding to the team looks disinterested they are. Also why wasn’t Ward up in wk 2?

The #Eagles lost to the #Fins in basically a home game in south beach , and Eli’s about to breakout in his final game at the Linc as the #Giants QB. Wentz doesn’t have great weapons but regressed in ‘19 he’s top 15 QB at best right now . This team doesn’t deserve the playoffs ...

Got the chance to watch #UNC 3-4 Times this season (almost got Clem). I think if TU is prepped for Mack & Co it’ll be an interesting game. #UNC is actually a pretty solid opponent for #Temple in spite of the weak #ACC in ‘19. No P5 bowl W for #TUFB since 1979! It’s long overdue.

Definitely not the best by any stretch of the imagination during the now 8 game sample size of the ‘19-20 season for #TUMBB . Missouri coming in 4-4 with a few rough Ls to quality opponents played like they needed a game in deep February, and The Owls arguably played their worst.

Transfers will be something to watch with the schools so closely located. And RU more than having enough room there for competition at a plethora of positions for PT

@IrritatedOwl @Off_The_Hook3 I agree talent returning and talent leaving elsewhere ... but if Carey weren’t to improve with the bunch coming back where he and his colleagues can devise plans that maximizes this talent. Hides the weaknesses, and highlights the strengths. Good CEO can we’ll see when ‘20 starts

Carey has set himself nicely at the end of the day in the books @ TU 8-4 two top 25 Ws no matter how done in season 1 sounds great. But if he were to really somehow regress

Yes ... If Anthony Russo finally hits his ceiling. The kid has an NFL Frame. He’s got the raw arm strength. I believe he looked more apt as a potential pro last season... That said his numbers very formidable in ‘19 , but I believe held back in the system. 3 HCs/Systems 4 years.

@TUOwlsDaily But also, recruiting has stepped up in AAC. Temple has not kept pace with some of the better classes. Your prediction will be correct, but I think they can make a run 1 more time next year.
