Update (2/2): Crews ventilated to clear the smoke and they located the seat of the fire to extinguish it. No reported injuries and fire investigators are working to determine the cause. Thanks to @LakeOswegoFire and @AMR_Social for assisting.

Update (1/2): Crews have brought the fire under control. Upon arrival, they found black smoke coming from the building and upgraded the call for more resources. As they entered and worked to extinguish, they found heavy smoke to the floor.

Crews have contained the spill, which originating from the semi’s saddle tank. Crews remain on scene for further mitigation.

Fire crews and our Hazardous Materials Team are en route to a tanker truck on I5 NB near the Haines St. exit. that is reported to be leaking diesel fuel. Please stay clear of the area. @LakeOswegoFire @OregonDOT and @ORStatePolice are also headed to the scene. #pdxalerts

The I5 NB 217 on ramp is now open again.

At 6:40 p.m. today, fire crews responded to a motorcycle crash on the 217 NorthBound on ramp. The rider of the vehicle was treated on scene and transported to OHSU for further care. The on ramp is currently closed. Check @tripcheck for updates and seek alternative routes.

Crews responded today to a residential fire in the 18000 block of Saddlebrook Ct in Beaverton. Fire started on a rear deck and extended into the attic and was under control in ~30 minutes. A second fire occurred 10 min later, requiring resource coordination. #pdxalerts

TVF&R crews together with Hillsboro Fire are responding to reports of a kitchen fire, which has extended into the attic at a residence in the 18000 block of Saddlebroom Court in Beaverton. More details to come.
