@HMRCcustomers That’s exactly what they are doing and then by them filling a P 11d showing the excess mileage amount as a benefit in kind it’s making my tax code change which is wrong?

@TWYFC That's only true if they're payrolling the mount and adding it to your pay Steve

@HMRCcustomers Yes agree it’s a taxable amount but it’s not or shouldn’t be treated as a benefit in kind which then affects my personal allowance code

@TWYFC Benefits in Kind are usually taxed. Is it one that your employer is actually taxing through payroll so shouldn't be in the tax code, or is it an ond one that you no longer get? Steve
