TEXAS AGAINST FENTANYL • TXAF
@TXAFawareness
The mission behind TXAF is to create awareness about fentanyl, provide resources, & support families who are grieving. 💚 https://t.co/X5aCpGHPc4

Last night, I had the honor of meeting Stefanie Roe, a fierce mama bear who turned unimaginable tragedy into a powerful mission after losing her 19-year-old son, Tucker, to fentanyl poisoning from a laced pill. She fought tirelessly and successfully passed Tucker’s Law (HB 3908) in Texas, which requires research-based education on fentanyl dangers, abuse prevention, overdose risks, and suicide awareness in public schools for grades 6-12—plus an annual Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness Week. Now, the next critical step is securing dedicated funding to fully implement and sustain this life-saving education in every Texas public school for grades 6-12. No school should lack the resources to teach our kids about this deadly threat. Not one more life lost to fentanyl! 💔 Let’s protect our children together. #TuckersLaw #FentanylAwareness #MamaBear #TexasStrong #NoMoreLivesLost #EndFentanyl @TXAFawareness

We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was: a man who believed that the Civil Rights Act that granted Black Americans the right to vote was a “mistake,” who after the violent attack on Paul Pelosi claimed that “some amazing patriot out there” should bail out his assailant, and accused Jews of controlling “not just the colleges – it’s the nonprofits, it’s the movies, it’s Hollywood, it’s all of it.” His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans – far from “working tirelessly to promote unity” as asserted by the majority in this resolution.” We can condemn his horrific assassination and the scourge of political violence without uplifting these ideas.
