When first responders become overwhelmed entities call the @TXEMTF8 to assist, and that was the case with the Hill Country floods. It is a massive undertaking requiring agencies from the entire state of Texas, and other countries, coming together as one.

EMTF-8 has deployed more than 25 agencies in support of the current response.

Last night, the #TXEMTF sent more than a dozen ambulances, 2 AMBUSs, 2 Medical Incident Support Team (MIST) members, and a Task Force Leader (TFL).
Currently, we have 2 AMBUSs, 4 ambulances, a MIST, & a TFL in Perryton to continue their support of local EMS and hospitals.
