Like vengeance for example, the Havamal in odinism rejects endless vengeance. The Celtic Brehon laws included things like restitution instead of revenge killings, the story of Oresteia in Greek mythology shows a cycle of revenge that only ends with it being handled legally in a court of laws.

I find it ironic that some Catholics are upset that Rome and Constantinople sent representatives to the consecration of a female Anglican bishop at Canterbury, yet would celebrate a formal reunion between Rome and Constantinople, while labeling the rest of the Orthodox world “schismatic” for not entering into communion with Rome. On one hand, they criticize both Rome and Constantinople for being soft on cultural and doctrinal decline. On the other hand, they still treat those same sees as the ultimate standard of unity, such that if Constantinople were to move further in that direction with Rome, the more traditional Orthodox patriarchates would somehow be blamed as schismatic for refusing to follow. Do you hear the contradiction? You can’t simultaneously argue that these centers are compromised, and also insist that everyone else must submit to them as the measure of orthodoxy and unity. At some point, you have to decide whether unity is grounded in institutional alignment, or in fidelity to the apostolic faith.

Most people just brush it off and say it’s just a coincidence, that Trump is just an oblivious old man on his phone that has no idea what he is sharing. However, this argument has lost validity, because it keeps happening over and over again, even from official White House and Trump admin pages. If this was a mistake, it has gone uncorrected and continues to happen, which is highly improbable, borderline impossible. Are you willing to entertain the mathematical probability that this is not an accident?
