DYK? Indigenous knowledge has shaped STEM for centuries! Traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) has influenced engineering, science, and medicine. Innovations like snowshoes, canoes, and irrigation systems are early STEM in action! STEM’s always been part of our communities.

Mentorship may end, but wrapping it up matters. Set clear expectations earlier, incl. a timeline to define goals and ease transitions. When moving on, show gratitude—mentees, thank your mentor; mentors, acknowledge your mentee. Mentorship may not last forever, but its impact can.

Finding the right mentor can change everything. They inspires, challenges, and supports your growth. Ask yourself: - Do they have experience in my field? - Do we share values? - Can they communicate openly? - Are they invested in my growth? Tag a mentor who made a difference!
