I feel I need to share on this. A lot of Bibles have different translations of words as the Bible was translated from Hebrew to Greek and so on.
In this particular case you need to look into context. God says that he will give his wives unto others and it will be done in daylight. This is referencing how David coveted another man’s wife and kept it secret. As God said in the Bible as he did so in secret he would do this in front of all of Israel.
So what makes more sense in this case? Because you secretly committed adultery I shall have all your wives publicly raped, or because you secretly committed adultery I shall have all of your wives publicly do the same.
Reminder at this point in time David is the king of Israel, and the men that laid with his wives were never described to my knowledge as to receiving any kind of punishment. So does that not make more sense that the situation was consensual by the wives as a humiliating punishment towards a king rather than men performing a profound act against the king and his wives which would result in their deaths?

Been a minute guys, I have started playing some anime games on Roblox recently and even made a couple videos on them.
Wanted to share this new game that is in early access. It looks amazing and maybe if the video does well I can get access to play it!

I’m curious if those universities have a contract with Apple though. I work in IT and I know that not every school or company gets the best product. A lot of times they get the product they can get the best deal on. It would also depend on the ecosystem of the entire site as well.
Example: where I work we are all heavily windows and google based. When the director retired the new guy came from a place that was all Apple based and when he tried to set up some of our stuff to be compatible with Apple it started crashing parts of our network and caused a lot of other issues. Now he is working on converting the entire ecosystem to google and ChromeOS.
Reason I bring this up is because there is a company that supplies us with nearly 90% of all the devices we have and they often tend to donate devices to us as well. The way we do things is when something gets purchased they get quotes, whoever quotes the lowest price wins. And that company that supplies us the most computers always quotes the cheapest because they will ask what everyone else quoted first and will then undercut them.
So the place I work basically ensures that they get everything from them and whatever devices they recommend.
That’s why I’m curious, because Adobe products were originally made for windows based systems if I’m right so they work just as well on windows devices as they do on Mac and in my opinion they probably work better because windows devices allow customization of hardware so you can make rendering a breeze whereas Mac hard locks you into your hardware until you replace the whole thing.
Main point I’m trying to make is I don’t trust the statistic of a university because they are often driven by who gives them money or saves them money. I would more interested in the statistics of animators and creators working at a large studio or freelancers and what all of them use.
English

@TZchamp @FearedBuck What I mean is: Apple is in bed with Adobe. If you plan on using any Adobe programs heavily, Apple is the way to go. I’m an animator and have been to several universities, they all use Mac minis in their art department labs, and most motion graphic studios use Mac’s

Apple has officially introduced the MacBook Neo, its most affordable laptop ever starting at $599 ($499 for students).
It features a 13-inch display, A18 Pro chip, 8GB RAM, 256GB or 512GB storage, up to 16-hour battery life, and comes in 4 colors: silver, indigo, blush, and citrus. Available March 11.
English

He is really, really bad at games he plays from all the clips I’ve seen of him.
Like there is a whole clip of him playing this game where it says in big letters on his screen: “L2+R2 SHOOT” while a giant monster is attacking him and he just says “what do you mean shoot? Shoot what? What am I supposed to shoot?” Then when he finally shoots the monster and the cutscene plays he says “oh that, I guess that’s what I was supposed to shoot.”
The dude basically has 0 free thinking and comprehension skills. Unless you hold his hand through it, he won’t get it.
English

I think it’s pointless regardless. Depending on what you mean by “creative” would matter heavily. I had a MacBook in college and took a software development class. Not a single program I wrote on that laptop worked on anything else except other MacBooks. They are so limited in compatibility it’s actually insane.
I’ve owned both, but Mac has always had stupid limitations that other OSs don’t (apart from ChromeOS, it is also very limited).
MAC is good for convenience with the Apple ecosystem, and if you only need a laptop for word processing and browsing the internet it’s great (why spend $500 for just that?). But the moment you need it to do something else or download some software onto it. Have fun.
English

@TZchamp @FearedBuck Well, unless you’re a creative, buying a MacBook is kinda pointless.
English

I work in IT. I know how bad MacBooks are. Their main issue is their system updates take up majority of the hard drive space they have because Apple has yet to figure out how to optimize that.
So unless you are getting the 512GB drive with an additional external drive have fun trying to save or download anything to it.
Secondly, the chip that’s in the device is actually slower than their current gen iPads. Which have a similar cost btw. So they are giving you an inferior piece of hardware for the same price as their current best.
And lastly, it has 8GB of RAM. So not only is it an annoying OS with practically no compatibility for a lot of different software, but it also only has 8GB of RAM which used to be the industry standard, but in today’s market 16GB is almost always required if you want your device to last longer than a year before it starts running slower from countless updates and wear and tear.
So effectively its only use is: searching the internet, word processing, and connecting to other Apple devices and products.
A Chromebook, which is also a bad product in my opinion, can do 2 of those 3 things for less $.
Just an addon here, I like Apple’s Phones, Watches, and iPads ecosystem. So I’m not hating just because it’s Apple. They just genuinely have inferior laptops that are overpriced.
English

@TZchamp @_nocontextclips @FearedBuck You haven‘t even tried it yourself. So you‘re hating without any reason.
English

@FearedBuck People are missing the point that this is purely aimed at people and especially students who just need it for basic web browsing and office programs.
English

@ShitpostRock “I got to get out of here.”
The character’s audio cue said calmly to inform you to leave rather than shoot the monster.
English

@MileHigh93 @JakeSucky Somehow you are still not understanding a word I am typing so I’m done here.
My point,
Current Bungie = Bad Company.
Bad Company = 0 Trust.
0 Trust = 0 Expectations For Future Projects x Frustration Over Past Projects.
English

@TZchamp @JakeSucky Ive played destiny from the very beginning so I understand the frustrations but to act like a d3 would just make up for the recent years of d2 failures is just naive. Of course players who love and play destiny would want a new destiny. You think of that yourself?
English

That wasn’t my point at all. My point was that Bungie abandoned their core community, fans, and players that have all been asking for D3 for years to make a completely different game in a different genre.
That game btw is also going to be a live service game which Bungie has proven with D2 they suck at making good decisions with. They also claim they are going to crack down on cheaters in the game, while D2 has been riddled with cheaters for years and has plagued pvp to a point that people didn’t even want to play it anymore.
My point is, they have had a terrible track record with live service and pvp. Now they have created a game that is just that.
I don’t care if you don’t like Destiny or if you do, the point remains that they neglected their core fan base and players and made a new game that’s whole genre revolves around the same crap they did horribly in D2 with the same promises they gave D2 players and everyone who isn’t a fan of extraction shooters and D2 fans are supposed to just be ok with it because other people like it.
A game being good or liked by players doesn’t excuse a company’s decisions and failures that they have yet to make up for.
English

@TZchamp @JakeSucky "W reading comprehension" but your point is bungie should only make a d3 without trying anything new? Sure a core audience wants to power grind a loot fantasy for 15 years in a row, some of us like trying new things. D3 would still just be "Destiny"
English

@MileHigh93 @JakeSucky You realize that was my whole point of the message right? Fans wanted D3. New story starting fresh instead of the terrible copy paste seasonal content.
W reading comprehension.
English

@TZchamp @JakeSucky Bro we've had destiny for like 12+ years. Who cares if they gave up on d2. Who wants to power grind for the billionth time? We beat the boss. Ended the light and dark saga. Its okay to move on man.
English

Except they sold Halo and then ruined D2 with poor executive decisions like the one that was made to sell Halo.
I hope Marathon is good for everyone who likes it. But I don’t want people to forget that Bungie practically abandoned D2 and its community and then made this game promising all the same stuff they did in D2.
At the end of the day, when they run out of ideas, or can’t figure out a ways to milk more money from a product. They will abandon it.
English

Marathon is good, actually: the Arc Raiders-rivalling extraction shooter proves Bungie has still got what made Halo and Destiny great
eurogamer.net/marathon-is-go…

English

@JakeSucky Sorry, I said looter shooter, but I meant extraction shooter.
English

I need to know why they are hating on the game. Because I personally don’t like the fact they made Marathon in stead of D3 or fixing D2. Something their players have been wanting and asking for, for years!
But nah give me another looter shooter live service game that will take attention away from your other game that you ignored and stopped caring about.
