Art doesn't change if society doesn't change. Its an awesome mirror. Always been fascinated by Florence because its where common man first held any political influence though commerce to change the world. So, two years ago, I spent the summer in Florence. Hired a local art professor to help me learn about its art/ history. Came away realizing that art is one of the best records of humanity's emotional growth. Through it, you can trace changes in thinking, commerce, hope, power assymetry, types of love, how women were treated, and the way people saw themselves. The idea that stayed with me most came from the Renaissance. We're still living it today (thank goodness). Instead of accepting your fate, you could shape life through choices. If you ever want to understand where we are at, look at the artists and creators around you. And no matter how hard things may seem, historically we have made it through far worse. Hope and perseverance 🫶

Feels like the financial system is splitting in two. Stable coins and non stables. In practice, only one was built for you, allowing you to earn higher yeild, offering speed and access that beats a traditional bank. Using stables has been one of my best practices.
