@MartinSLewis I agree Martin, although I think the right balance has to be struck between the responsibilities of the FI and personal responsibility as well. As you say, education is important but so is a legal system that preserves/ensures this balance.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother.l! The idea that we should leave lenders, that often focus on young people, unregulated and leave people unprotected without recourse to fairness rules cos "that'll teach em" is bizarre. I've spent my entire career trying to improve financial capability, educate and prevent people getting into trouble, especially with borrowing. Yet that doesn't negate the need for protections, especially for the more vulnerable members of society who cannot always protect themselves.

Wishing upon a... moon? That bright "star" is actually Mars' moon Deimos. In the hours before dawn, I snapped this long-exposure image with my left Navcam and caught Deimos as well as two stars from the constellation Leo in the sky. It's definitely a mood, as they say.
